so we went to bham!

So We Took Nevaeh to Birmingham For The First Time!! We went on the train, =)
on the trains i do think they need more places for pushchairs! as the virgin train we where on we had to stand int he disabled bit right next to the toilet which to be honest wasnt the nicest, and people walking past my baby with open bottles and cans of alcohol was not Good at all! you cant drink in a public place or a bus but you can on a train very strange! Any way!!

This is princess on the train holding her daddies hand!
most of the time she would stare out the window and be amazed by trees going past so fast LOL!

I was very chuffed when i went to NEXT! iv been looking for this jumper for ages! every week from my town center and they never had it, as soon as i went in i seen it and there was one left :) i will deffo be going there more offern!! And The ELC (early learning centre) there is brill they closed the ones down wherei live but have a store in the bullring there and it was big and very good! they have a book corner and even a little table with toys to play with! good promotion technique there ;)
From The ELC i brought Sophie la girafe!
Now I Seen these at the baby show! and to be honest i feel they didnt promote them enough if they had promoted them i think i really would have brought one there and then, but the sophie was just on a shelf on a stand not really shown off to her pretentual, As i believe parents would have looked at the price of £12.99 and just thought pfft that for a teether it wasnt explained, so instead of being explained at the baby show i went home and googled her, and this is what i found
  • Natural Rubber is soft, safe & non-toxic for baby to teethe & chew
  • painted with non-toxic, food-grade paints
  • Lightweight & easy to grasp for tiny handseak
  • Bumpy head helps soothe sore, teething gum
  • Sophie the Giraffe is Phthalate-Free with NO Vinyl (no-PVC)

sophie is made of a rubber instead of all these other plastic teethers i have seen, and i did think to myself after if my gums hurt nawing on a hard plastic would really hurt more!(this is why i think nevaeh never wanted them and threw them on the floor) but soft rubber must feel so much nicer!
nevaeh would literally chew anything but the teethers

The first time she put it in her mouth she did pull a strange face and didnt grasp the fact she could hold it so i kept putting her hands on the sophie to encourage her to hold it! she seems to naw on the legs more than anywhere else i think this might be the easy way to hold it.

This is the next day! getting used to the idea of it! (incuding the jumper i mentiond before ;))

and now! she loves it!!this is her watching cbeebies while having a chew! she also laughs when it squeeks as shes worked out how to do it herself!

all in all i am really glad i got the sophie just a shame it wasnt promoted enough at the baby show to us mums! as i think theh would of flew of the shelfs! any of you have teething tips!!??
